Thank you for purchasing Dynatron’s
Miracle Remote. This remote will actually allow you
to operate most if not all of the features found on
your TV, just like your original remote! It is amazingly
simple to use. Remember our slogan: No Programming,
No Codes, It Just Works! Just remember to put in batteries!
The operating instructions are listed below. You
should consult your TV owner’s manual for additional
information on operating specific functions.
Also remember this is a TV only
remote: it will not operate other devices such as a
DVD or VCR, nor will it operate features not found on
your original remote control.

Operating Instructions
This remote is designed to operate
most Toshiba® televisions. For the common features, please
see the back of the package. Only the more complicated features
and features with alternate names will be discussed below.
The TV/VIDEO* key allows you to access DVD, VCR or games.
ANT* allows you to switch between Antenna 1 and Antenna 2
on older TV’s
PREVIOUS CHANNEL also known as RECALL allows you to view the
last channel.
EXIT allows you exit all menus
PICT FMT* is also known as PICTURE SIZE and allows you to
change picture size and shape and ratio.
DSP/SUR* pressed repeatedly allows you to select surround
sound and additional audio modes. These features are found
in the menu on some TV’s.
SLEEP *turns the TV off in 15,30,45,60,90, or 120 minutes.
Keep pressing the SLEEP button to cancel. This feature may
be accessed through the menu.
Most TV adjustments for audio, video
and channel auto programming are done through the menu.
There are 2 MENU keys, MENU 1 and MENU 2. Most TV’s
use the Menu 2 button. Once in Menu 2, the CH+/- allows you
to scroll up and down in the menu and VOL+/- allows you to
make changes to a feature. IF the CH+/- and VOL+/ do not operate
the menu, press menu 2 again and use the 4 arrow buttons to
go through the menu. You may also need to use the ENTER key
to make some menu selections.
If MENU 2 does not operate your TV menu
use Menu 1. Once in the menu, if the CH+/- and VOL+/
do not operate the menu, press menu 1 again and use the 4
arrow buttons to go through the menu.
On some older Toshiba sets you
may also need to use the OPTIONS button for certain menu set-up
and the + or – buttons to go through the menu.
The AUDIO* and PICTURE * buttons which control sound and picture
menu functions on some TV’s are also used in the same
way the menu is. The CH+/- allows you to scroll up and down
in the AUDIO or VIDEO menu and VOL+/- allows you to make changes
to a feature. IF the CH+/- and VOL+/ do not operate the menu,
press the AUDIO or PICTURE button again and use the 4 arrow
buttons to go through the menu. You may also need to use the
ENTER key to make some menu selections
ATTENTION: If you
press the arrow keys or press the + or – buttons, you
may get a blank screen or scrambled picture. To return too
normal mode just press TV/VCR or the previous channel button.
PIP WINDOW * The following controls
are located in the PIP box on the bottom of the remote.
SOURCE is also known as the 2nd TV/VIDEO button and allows
you to choose alternate inputs.
The CH+/CH- keys are utilized to change the channel in the
PIP window. Note: On TV’s with single tuners you must
use your VCR as the 2nd tuner: please reference your owner’s
manual for complete hookup instructions. Just
a reminder that certain PIP functions or any function not
found on your original TV remote will not work.
